Thanksgiving Food Drive - Cape Coral Caring Center

We will be holding a food drive for our next Community Cause! Over the next two months, we are raising food donations as part of our Thanksgiving Food Drive for hundreds of hungry people in Cape Coral. All donations received will be donated to Cape Coral Caring Center. The Cape Coral Caring Center is an emergency food pantry for our beautiful hometown of Cape Coral. With the help of our community, they are able to assist local families, who are in crisis, with food. Many of us are able to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday with a big turkey and homemade food with many family and friends. Often, we forget about all the people who can't put dinner on the table on a regular basis. This food drive will help make people's holiday a little bit better.

Last year, the Cape Coral Caring Center served over 400 families and this year they plan on serving the same number, if not more! Some of the most needed items are: Canned vegetables, dry stuffing mix, canned gravy, instant mashed potatoes, canned cranberries, canned pie filling, chicken broth. The Caring Center will also provide the family with a turkey. This organization provides for people on a daily basis, not just on Thanksgiving, so if you would like to donate the following items, please feel free to do so! Cereal, peanut butter, canned meat, spaghetti sauce, rice, oatmeal, and beans Aside from providing food for so many people in need, they also provide electrical assistance and bus passes to those who are job searching. They make sure every person in need is seen and sent home like they just left the grocery store. Join us in helping a local organization that does so much for local people in need. If it weren't for our community, it would be very difficult for the Caring Center to continue providing needed items to our neighbors.
